Dining Roomining Room.  Tastefully appointed with ornate ceiling and woodwork It has fine views of the garden and French door to the front of the house.

There is a modern conservatory to the side.

Kitchen.   Adjoins the dining room, is spacious and well equipped with oil fired four oven Aga, electric hob, microwave, freezer, large refrigerator, two store rooms and ample worktop and storage space. There is a circular breakfast table to seat 8 with views of the river and a television with SKY plus.

Sitting RoomDrawing Room.  This is a comfortable and relaxing room with large picture windows facing south and spectacular views across the gardens to the hills. There is a feature fireplace (logs are provided), piano and a CD/Tape HiFi. Through a small hall is a door granting access to the gardens.

Games Room.  This is off the Drawing Room and contains a Ping Pong table, table top soccer, Bridge tables etc. There is also a separate Billiards Room with a full size table.

There is a laundry with washing machines, a tumble dryer and sinks; a separate drying room with plenty of hanging space for wet coats and boots; also 3 WCs.

Old fashioned bell boardThe house is centrally heated.

In the long hall is an old-fashioned bell board with the names of the various rooms on it. Not even the owners are sure which was which as the bells have long been disconnected.

The names include: Bonnie Prince Charlie's Room, The Admiralty and The North Pole.

Guests in the house are always asked for their opinions.
